The Museum of Intrepid Exploration

The Museum of Intrepid Exploration is my studio space, located at Sugar House Studios in Brookvale, and it's one of my favourite places to work.

An intrepid explorer ventures fearlessly into unknown terrain in hopes of illumination and discovery. That spirit is built into the space itself, which functions as an ongoing art project and the home of my artistic practice. It's creative, curiosity-driven, and deliberately unlike a clinical setting.

Many of my adolescent clients come to work with me here. For young people especially, having a space that feels different and invites making, exploring, and self-expression rather than sitting across a desk can completely change what becomes possible in a session. Art-based engagement is a genuine therapeutic tool, and the studio is designed with that in mind.
